Holy Yoga® Power Flow
This energizing practice includes fundamental yoga postures that move with the breath through invigorating flow sequences, helping to increase strength and provide cardiovascular benefits. Although this is a physically active class, the primary focus is to provide space to realign minds and hearts with God through Scripture and prayer. Come ready to sweat! Some yoga experience suggested.
Anusara Yoga
There are over 250 poses that compile the syllabii of Anusara yoga asanas. The class covers all of the key asanas within the major classifications of poses: standing poses. Although there are no set postural routines in Anusara yoga, classes are designed using principles of sequencing. One of the principles includes progressively sequencing poses to help students of all levels advance in their practice. JennTara is one of the first accredited “Anusra Inspired” yoga instructors in St. Louis.
Holy Yoga® Gentle/Restorative
This practice is designed for anyone wanting to rejuvenate the soul, heal the body, and still the mind. Through the use of blankets, blocks, straps and chairs, this safe practice allows the body to fully achieve each position comfortably. This slow-paced class focuses on stretching all areas of the body, releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles, and resting in God’s presence through prayer and Scripture. It is appropriate for those that are new to yoga, those with limited mobility, those who are overweight, those recovering from an injury, and those who are simply feeling run down. All levels welcome.
